Camping

Camping is what scouting is all about.  It is an incredibly fun activity that can be enjoyed by your entire family.  At Pack 106, we go out of our way to insure that camping is an easy, low stress, and affordable activity for everyone.

As Pack 106 is a very active group, there will be several opportunities during the year to go camping. We typically attend the popular District Events Spook-O-Ree around Halloween, and Spash-O-Ree in the spring.  Additionally, we have other Pack only camping trips each year, with a trip to Disney's Ft. Wilderness every other year.

We understand that many of our families may be new to camping, and the idea of preparing for your first camp-out can be intimidating.  Rest assured you will not be on your own.  Plenty of help will be available should you need it.

As we are a Cub Scout pack with young children, we do not participate in "Primitive Camping".  All camp sites will have access to bathrooms and running water.

In order to participate, all campers must complete and sign the BSA Health Forms available below.

All meals are prepared and served by the Pack.  Therefore you only need to pack your personal camping gear.

Attached is a suggested packing list a Pack 106 Camp-Out.
